Thru My Eyes Featured on CNN Original Series Mostly Human

We are very pleased to announce that our featured segment on Mostly Human with Laurie Segall is now available to watch on CNNgo.com.   This episode features an interview with our client Amy who was redoing her video that we recorded over three years ago.

Special Announcement For First Responders

We are proud to announce that we will be offering our services to the community of First Responders to be able to create a video legacy. Any Firefighter, Police Officer or Paramedic/EMT suffering from a life-threatening illness can have a video done even if their children are not under the age of 21. Our dedicated first responders both paid and the selfless volunteer community deserves this consideration because they put their life on the line every day for our communities. Giving back in this way is the least we could do to say thank you.

We hope that you will spread this news to those that you feel could most benefit. Thank you.

The Ice Bucket Challenge Leads to Important Breakthrough For ALS

Do you remember the Ice Bucket Challenge?  Researchers say that the over $200 million dollars that was raised has led to a breakthrough for scientists.

They were able to identify one area that varied a little bit in people with ALS that increased their risk for developing ALS,  says Dr. Kevin Biglan, professor of neurology. So it gives us a little bit of insight into the genetic underpinnings of ALS and potential causes.WHEC News 10

The idea is easy: Take a bucket of ice water, dump it over your head, video it and post it on social media. Then challenge your friends, strangers, even celebrities to do the same within 24 hours or pay up for charity. (AP Photo/Elise Amendola)

Is There a Time to Say Thank You to Cancer?

There is no dispute that a cancer diagnosis changes everything.  Here is one take on how cancer changes your perspective.

A Thank You Note to My Cancer

Denise Albert is co-founder of The MOMS, a
multi-media life style brand and event company.

Many people survive cancer. There must be some good that comes from it. For me, so far it’s the little things: When my 7-year-old asks to sleep in my bed for a special treat, I no longer try to pretend that it’s not okay. When I’m invited somewhere I don’t want to go, I don’t go. I only make plans with people I care about. The pressure of showing my face no longer exists. I was just at a water park with my kids, and because of my recent surgery I couldn’t go in the water. I’m normally just as eager to go on a waterslide as my boys. But in the past, if it was too cold, or I needed a break, I would sit and watch. Now, it will never be too cold for me to get in the water with my kids. I don’t want to miss out on any fun with them.
